When selecting DC MCB( DC Maniature Circuit Breakers) for solar systems and other electrical installations, it is vital to consider the ambient temperature correction factor to ensure optimal performance and safety.
With corrected values catered to current ratings from 63A to 125A, our DC Breakers are made to run consistently across a large temperature range.
The rated current capacity changes with the increasing ambient temperature to minimize tripping failures or overheating. At 60°C, for instance, a 63A breaker will transport just 53.4A whereas a 125A breaker will carry 105.4A.
In high-temperature settings including solar PV installations, battery energy storage systems, and industrial control panels, this temperature derating guarantees long-term protection and efficiency.
